printmaking
gravuras
This is a selection of the prints I did during Erasmus in Antwerp. It wasn't the first time doing printmaking, since I've already did 3 semesters of it at FBAUL. I really enjoyed working a whole semester at the Printmaking Department at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts. It was very free for me because I could make my own project the way I wanted, with no restrictions, and use different printmaking techniques. I ended up doing mostly woodcut and linocut because they're the techniques I feel more confident and free about. These prints reflect my paintings but also a state of melancholy and loneliness that often and suddenly appears.
